IWB wasn't an ordinary experience. I found myself magically connecting others over sth small and earthy (which is now our passcode ;) that grew into something much bigger—opening hearts and forming meaningful relationships. Chiedza M. , one of the speakers and organizers, truly stood out. As you can see in the photo, she is an open-hearted person and I can tell you she is a great coach. I greatly benefited from her talk and later discovered that she is a consultant at the World Health Organization, which she humbly didn't mention. You can reach out to her for advice on financial topics, business strategies, and career negotiations. You might be surprised at how much you can learn.Photo credits @liezth Soto and big hugs to Bruna Silva and her team for organising the event.

This weekend I attended Berlin #Brettspiel 2024, my first board game event with a B2C focus. First thought crossed my mind was, "Struggling with ideas in hybrid-casual game development? Attend a board game event! 🎲 " You get to play games with tutors explaining the rules, leaving you to just roll the dice!A German speaker would definitely get more out of it, especially with friends. The prototyping hall looked incredibly useful to me. Visitors played games and gave feedback on the spot, which could be super helpful mixed with data. One game that caught my eye was #Skitter, which isn't on the market yet. It was a magnetic flicking game with various levels of gameplay, appealing to both those who want to master it and those looking for a fun party game. It had some base-color rules that reminded me of famous Azul. You can check the game here: https://lnkd.in/d_eamxZ6Honestly the event totally differed from #mobilegaming events, which big names dominate everything. This event emphasized more on face-to-face interactions, hands-on gameplay, and immediate community feedback. I think this kind of event could be especially useful for mobile game designers and those looking for ideas.

Today marks my 40th day in Berlin. While 40 days is a short time to get to know a new country or even a city as multifaceted as Berlin, it feels like a long time when you’ve left your home country with your husband and beloved cat still there, preparing to join. 🐱 Change isn’t always straightforward (unfortunately!). I wrote a piece about my New Year's resolutions here on LinkedIn and shared it with you. I can say now, setting the goal is just the beginning; achieving it takes time, energy, and mental strength in accepting failures and iterating. Reality can be slow, frustrating, and often doesn’t bring expected, planned results. 🙇♀️ Anyway, I'm here now in Berlin celebrating my 40th day. In my previous roles, I've been Head of Business Development/Products/Business Line Manager in the mobile gaming industry 📱.Currently, I’m pursuing an MBA at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), and my visa allows me to work part-time.I’m reaching out to ask for your support in easing this journey. You can help by referring me to job opportunities at your company, promoting this post, or commenting on what you remember most about me.❓ I see myself as a solution digger/problem solver, but what defines me in your memory? Let me know!Thank you all for your support ❤️

Honored to co-host the Berlin Business Tech Soiree with @Ratten as part of Berlin's Entrepreneurs, Startup & Business Networking Community. #techbusiness #startups #berlinevents The sunny Berlin weather set the stage for great conversations and getting to know each other. It was a friendly event with meaningful connections for me. I hope others enjoyed it as well.

The Berlin Game Creators event was a sweet intro to the Berlin gaming scene for me. I much prefer small gatherings over big, fancy events as you really get to know people. Even when started raining heavily, many were standing and talking energetically. Of course, we should also danke the beer!#berlingamescene #berlingaming The event is open to game developers and folks in the game industry in Berlin. If you want to join check out the meetup link here:https://lnkd.in/dt_zvqfx

💰 To publishers and developers in my network:I've got some exciting news! 🎮 I've recently connected with a Casual #game development team looking to sell their game with +2000 levels, as they're moving on to a new project. This game, built in #Godot, offers fantastic features like Chat, Teams, Tournaments, and impressive KPIs, including a D1 retention rate of over 45% and an average engagement time of 3 hours 📊The best part? The asking price is very reasonable. 🤝If you're interested in exploring this opportunity reach out for more details 📩#unity #casualgames #match3 #gamedevelopment

To publishers and investors in my network! 🪀🧩🪀🧩Recently, I connected with a dear friend and his team who are working on an innovative match3, merging game. With a D1 of 40% and playtime exceeding 55 mins, it's clear that this game is captivating players. The team is dedicated to further enhancing the game's features and has a big roadmap planned for future updates. They're now seeking investment in marketing or a publishing partner to help take their game to the next level. If you're interested in learning more, please feel free to message me and I'll connect you with the talented development team.#casualgames #publishing #investment #games
